Three connected changes let people copy an eligible static playlist into Music Assistant itself or another connected provider that supports playlist creation and editing.
The flow offers three match policies: exact release, same recording or best effort. It runs in the background, reports progress, verifies the destination, retries when needed and lists tracks it could not copy. Duplicate tracks are preserved where the destination supports them; the flow also accounts for services that reject duplicates.
The same matching work can replace confirmed-dead tracks during playlist import when their original provider is no longer configured, using matches from the user’s other connected services. A provider that is temporarily unavailable is left alone, and the original order and duplicate tracks are preserved.
