Moving between dashboards or otherwise removing picture cards could leave their streaming-image connections alive. Enough abandoned streams could choke Home Assistant’s websocket and freeze the interface.
The frontend now disconnects a picture card’s stream when the card is removed. The scope is deliberately narrow: related image-card variants can still exhibit the same leak and need separate work. karwosts authored the fix; bramkragten reviewed and approved it.
