Home Assistant’s iOS app adds six Apple Health measurements: total sleep, time in bed, awake time, and core, deep and REM sleep. Each reports minutes for the most recent night, placing sleep records alongside the app’s other health sensors.
The day runs from 6 p.m. to 6 p.m., so the previous night’s result stays visible through the afternoon. Overlapping records from multiple sources count once. A stage that the source does not track appears as unavailable instead of a misleading zero.
The sensors follow the app’s opt-in approach. A companion explanation clarifies why In Bed may be unavailable: Apple Watch records sleep stages, while time-in-bed records need iPhone tracking or another app that supplies them.
