Home Assistant adds separate configuration switches for the audible and visual alarm modes exposed by compatible Matter devices, including IKEA’s KLIPPBOK water-leak sensor. Changing one mode preserves the other setting, so turning a sound on or off does not also overwrite the light’s configuration.
WardZhou develops the controls, with review and approval from dvd76 and lboue. The switches appear only for alarm modes the device supports.
