Home Assistant stops publishing household consumption and grid import and export readings when a Sofar inverter reports that the required meter data is invalid. On one solar-only 4.4 KTLX-G3, the supposed consumption total copied solar generation and claimed 17.9 MWh that the household had never consumed.
The correction removes the daily and total readings for all three measures on affected installations. People using those sensors need to remove them from Energy dashboards, templates or automations. Inverters that report valid meter data keep the readings, including solar-only systems with a meter; models that provide no usable validity information are unchanged. Solar generation sensors keep reporting.
