Home Assistant automations gain a route to send text messages through Threema Gateway. Each configured recipient gets a notification entity, giving households a dedicated destination for alerts.
Setup accepts an existing Gateway ID and secret and can generate an encryption key pair. Providing a private key enables end-to-end mode; leaving it empty uses the gateway’s non-end-to-end mode. Threema must enable end-to-end mode for the gateway after its public key is registered.
Lukas makes a first contribution to Home Assistant Core with the integration, which starts with outgoing text messages.
