Home Assistant lets an automation choose normal or silent movement for each SwitchBot Curtain 3 command. The requested speed overrides the curtain’s configured default for that opening, closing or position change.
The speed controls are limited to Curtain 3, which supports the command. Older curtain models keep their existing behavior, and commands without a speed choice continue to use the configured default.
