Music Assistant uses loudness information supplied by Tidal to even out differences in track volume without first scanning the audio. Tidal listeners benefit from the service’s existing measurements instead of waiting for Music Assistant to measure each track itself.
Dorian Stoll makes his first contribution to the Music Assistant server with the work. It builds on the existing support for loudness data supplied by other music sources.
