ESPHome corrects an output-delay setting for DFRobot SEN0395 presence sensors that could keep reporting a departed person for about 27 minutes. A configured five-second delay was passed as 5,000 seconds and then limited to the sensor’s maximum of 1,638.375 seconds.
Christopher Pruijsen fixes the unit conversion. Anyone who used the workaround of writing 5ms to obtain five seconds must change it back to 5s. Formulas that return a delay in seconds keep their existing behavior.
