Home Assistant protects InfluxDB history exports from a single text reading containing a line break. A multiline address from a phone’s location sensor could cause the database to reject a whole batch, losing other devices’ state changes along with it. Franck Nijhof replaces line breaks inside text values with spaces before sending them.
