MELCloud Home air-to-water systems gain Home Assistant controls for their hot-water tanks. Owners can set a target temperature and choose normal heat-pump operation or forced hot water, which gives the tank priority over the heating zones.
Erwin Douna adds an operation reading that distinguishes idle, water heating, room heating and cooling. Room climate controls also show when the system is actively heating or cooling. Tank controls appear only where the unit reports hot-water support; there is no separate tank power switch because turning off the unit would stop room heating too.
