Home Assistant is considering sharing server settings between iPhones, iPads and Macs signed into the same Apple Account. Bruno Pantaleão Gonçalves proposes offering a known home on a new device instead of asking its owner to enter internal and external addresses again.

The first step would copy server configuration and still require the usual Home Assistant sign-in. Each device would register separately, keeping its own notifications, sensors and permissions. The proposal includes controls to disable syncing or exclude one server; sharing across different Apple Accounts and Android are outside its scope.

A later, opt-in phase would exchange a synced enrollment credential for a separate login session on each device. That would need new Core support and a security review, including access from shared Apple devices and how sessions are revoked. The proposal remains in Considering.
