Home Assistant prevents ViCare heating readings from blocking the rest of the system. Since the 2026.9.0 coordinator change, reading a sensor could make a network request on the main processing loop and freeze it long enough for Supervisor to restart Home Assistant.
The integration gathers those values alongside its background update instead. The displayed readings then use the gathered results, avoiding a fresh network request as Home Assistant reads each sensor.
