Music Assistant stops adding its YouTube Music searches to the listener’s YouTube search history. Background artist scans and lookups triggered by opening a library track had each created entries using the connected account.
Marvin Schenkel makes search anonymous again while other YouTube Music calls remain authenticated. The privacy change also lets unplayable or region-blocked tracks reappear in search results; filtering them is separate work.
