Home Assistant corrects a backup omission affecting people who keep locally developed apps on their system. Full backups had silently skipped the local app source folder after its on-disk location changed from addons to apps.
Mike Degatano makes backup and restore operations find the new location while keeping the old folder name inside the backup format. Existing backups and clients retain that compatibility; the correction does not recover files absent from an earlier backup.
