For people using LiteLLM, Home Assistant adds a route for turning spoken Assist requests into text. Setup selects a transcription model and offers optional hints to help it recognize particular names or terms.
The selected backend must support the language and optional parameters; unsupported hints can cause transcription errors. Marcin Juraszek supplies the addition in his first contribution to Home Assistant Core, reviewed by Joost Lekkerkerker.
