Home Assistant adds a switch for Starlink’s “Use Starlink positioning exclusively” setting. Turning it on makes the dish determine its location from Starlink satellites without GPS, an option intended for places where jammed or spoofed GPS can disrupt connectivity.
Yaroslav Berezhinskiy tested the setting on a real dish, checking that changes in Home Assistant and the Starlink app stay in step. This is his first contribution to Home Assistant Core, reviewed by Joost Lekkerkerker.
