ESPHome stops rejecting correctly configured USB serial connections for equipment such as Kamstrup heat meters. A meter using two stop bits could fail validation even when its USB infrared head was already configured for exactly that setting.
Max Slotov also corrects false parity-mismatch reports for USB channels. The settings sent to the adapter stay the same; the change fixes how ESPHome checks them. Clyde Stubbs reviewed the correction.
