Music Assistant’s iPhone app restores its presence on the lock screen and media player widget while playing music. An earlier adjustment for spoken interruptions had inadvertently removed it. Music lowers its volume during Maps or Siri announcements; podcasts and audiobooks pause, then resume afterward.
David Bishop also prevents opening the app while playback is paused from making those controls disappear. Another app taking exclusive control of audio can still displace them. Andrii Mitnovych reviewed the correction.
