Home Assistant corrects a network setting that could make affected Home Assistant OS installations unreachable when using a virtual network, or VLAN, created by Supervisor. The problem involves the Realtek r8169 network driver and the kernel included in Home Assistant OS 18.3.
Samant Maharaj makes Supervisor explicitly apply the usual VLAN header setting. Existing connections receive the correction when Supervisor next starts. This is his first contribution to Supervisor, reviewed by Stefan Agner.
