Home Assistant corrects how it controls WLED strips that combine colour with white light. The colour wheel could jump back to white because the reported mode stayed fixed, while changing colour temperature could do nothing when the white channel was off. The connection now follows the light’s actual colour and enables the white channel when setting its temperature.
Strips with separate warm-white and cool-white LEDs also gain combined colour and white control, using the LED configuration reported by WLED to split the white correctly. After changing a strip’s LED type in WLED, reload the Home Assistant integration so it picks up the new capabilities.
