A correction in Music Assistant’s Sonos library prevents a television waking up from leaving a speaker group playing but uncontrollable. Sonos can move control of an existing group to another speaker without changing the group’s identity; the library had failed to start following the new controlling speaker.
Michael N reproduced the failure with a Sonos Arc and a three-speaker group using Music Assistant 2.10.5 with the modified library. The corrected library followed the new controlling speaker in the test. This is Michael N’s first contribution to aiosonos, reviewed by Marcel van der Veldt.
