ESPHome adds the touch controller used by the Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-1.46, giving makers a built-in way to read touches on its round screen. It supports either an interrupt signal or regular polling, with the board’s 412-by-412 calibration as its default.
Guillaume Rischard supplies the controller support and configuration guide. The implementation was validated on hardware; it adds touch input rather than establishing complete support for every part of the display board.
