Home Assistant adds Copy, Cut, Paste above and Paste below to dashboard section menus. People arranging a long dashboard, particularly on a phone, can move a whole section without dragging it through the page.
The clipboard survives switching views and dashboards in the same tab, and a copied section can be pasted more than once. Cutting removes the original immediately because dashboard edits save automatically; an Undo notice offers a way back.
A completely empty view has no section menu and cannot receive a pasted section yet. This is Xander’s first contribution to Home Assistant’s frontend.
