Home Assistant’s automation traces gain a direct link from a step to the script or automation run it started. Troubleshooting a chain of routines no longer requires finding the child run by its timestamp.
Jonathan adds the link to step details and the timeline, including individual repeat iterations and a script that calls itself. Browser back and forward preserve the selected run instead of returning to the newest one.
A step that starts several scripts still records only one child run. If the linked run has already left the stored history, Home Assistant explains that its trace is no longer available.
