Home Assistant adds the time Dexcom recorded a glucose reading, allowing a dashboard to show the measurement’s age. An unchanged value previously left ordinary state-change timestamps behind, while a fresh cloud poll could still be retrieving an older measurement.
The new Glucose reading time sensor uses the timestamp supplied by Dexcom rather than the time Home Assistant polled or last saw a different value. This is Victor Kuznetsov’s first contribution to home-assistant/core.
