ESPHome sets version 2027.5.0 as the removal point for five display drivers that have been deprecated since April. The build warnings name both the deadline and the replacement, giving makers a concrete date for updating their display configurations.

The ili9xxx, st7735, st7789v and qspi_dbi drivers point to mipi_spi. The rpi_dpi_rgb driver points to mipi_rgb. J. Nick Koston adds the warnings for the planned 2026.11 release, providing six months before removal.
