Music Assistant removes the 500-item cutoff from the library portions of artist pages and music-service browse folders. Larger collections can be read in pages, with the server handling search and order instead of requiring every client to load and arrange the whole list.

The paging interface also covers playlists, podcast episodes, genres and alternate versions, with search and sorting handled by the server. Most assembled lists are cached for fifteen minutes; a manual refresh picks up outside changes immediately. Client applications need to adopt the interface to reach every item, while older clients receive the first page.
