Music Assistant’s mobile app keeps a play request running when someone leaves the screen and shows a progress ring while the music is being prepared. The indicator also reflects requests started from another phone, the web interface or a car connection.
Andrii Mitnovych makes identical double taps count once. If several different play requests are waiting, the newest replaces an older waiting choice; requests to add music or play it next keep their order. The play control remains usable while the ring is showing.
