Home Assistant adds a search tool to its large-language-model interface so a connected AI assistant can find entities, devices, areas, labels, automations, scripts and scenes by name.
Results are ranked and grouped, with up to five of each kind returned at a time. The assistant can request another page within a category instead of receiving an entire collection at once.
