Home Assistant’s Android app adds sleep start and end times alongside the duration of light, deep and REM sleep and the other stages recorded in Health Connect. The existing sleep-duration sensor also carries the ordered stage timeline, including each stage’s start and end.
The sensors read the latest sleep session supplied through Health Connect, regardless of which compatible app recorded it. Separate sessions are not combined, and stages the source does not provide remain unavailable instead of appearing as zero. The existing total sleep-duration reading is unchanged.
