Home Assistant adds a way to remove a bad stretch of recorded measurements while keeping the rest of the history. A new dialog in the statistics table previews the selected time range before deleting its statistics.
This is especially useful for averages such as temperature, whose recorded statistics cannot be adjusted like cumulative totals. Previously, removing an erroneous reading meant deleting the entire statistic. Paulus Schoutsen supplies the matching data handling and interface.
