Music Assistant restores playback for SoundCloud tracks that no longer offer an MP3 stream. SoundCloud’s newer streams use AAC audio; the connection previously rejected them, leaving tracks unplayable or offering only a thirty-second preview.
BeeSouul adds the missing format and prefers a full stream over a preview, while retaining MP3 where a full copy exists. In the contributor’s thirty-track search, twenty-two tracks had no MP3 version and the remaining eight offered MP3 previews only. A test using a free SoundCloud account on a Raspberry Pi 4 played previously failing tracks in full.
