Home Assistant repairs Blink sign-ins that fail before the service checks the password. A shared device identifier was rejected by Blink’s authorization and token-refresh endpoints for affected installations.

The connection creates and preserves an identifier for each installation and removes the rejected old value during migration. Existing setups can recover at their next setup without a forced sign-in. The contributor observed that the rejection did not affect every installation. This is Sam Artuso’s first contribution to Home Assistant Core.
