Home Assistant Green’s SD-card reset guide points to a new installer after the older image stopped resolving the address needed to download Home Assistant OS. The support report traces the failure to the October 11 change of a DNS root trust key, rather than the customer’s choice of DNS server.
The linked October 15 installer carries a newer resolver with both trust keys. Support checked the download links and sent the replacement to two affected customers, but had not yet confirmed a completed reset on Green hardware.
