Music Assistant’s mobile app stops its own audio immediately when someone presses Pause, even if the server cannot be reached. Previously, the button could change appearance while buffered sound continued for minutes, waiting for a server response.
Andrii Mitnovych makes the phone discard the waiting audio and stay silent through reconnecting until playback is deliberately resumed or the server confirms it has stopped. A queued Pause stays ahead of a later Play so the server starts a fresh stream.
