ESPHome adds voltage and temperature readings for individual cells in Pylontech batteries. Owners can select the cells they want to monitor instead of relying only on the battery-wide figures.
The connection requests those details after its ordinary battery readings and can pause or resume cell polling from an automation. The extra requests and storage apply only to batteries configured with cell sensors.
