ESPHome scripts gain a choice action for selecting the first matching branch and an optional fallback when none matches. A new stop trigger also lets a script respond when it is interrupted, including when a restart-mode script starts again; it does not run after normal completion.
Clyde Stubbs supplies the script changes, with companion Device Builder work for editing each branch and preserving its conditions. The visual editor also stops turning an “any” condition into a requirement that every condition be true. Full editing of the new choices depends on the editor receiving the ESPHome 2026.11 schema.
