HACS gives households preparing for Home Assistant 2026.11 a clearer route to the built-in Marketplace. Its installer refuses a separate HACS installation on that version and newer, including beta and development builds, and points to the matching Marketplace documentation.
Franck Nijhof’s new transition guide keeps the existing HACS instructions for Home Assistant 2026.10 and older. It explains the upgrade, directs publishers to the new contributor website, and tells users where Marketplace bugs and feature requests belong. Joakim Sørensen adds the version check to the installer.
