The integration directory on Home Assistant’s website gains categories and subcategories that follow the things people want to connect, from heating to water heaters. A Local or Cloud filter helps narrow the choice, and search recognizes category names, small spelling mistakes and accented characters.
Categories and filters open in full-screen panels on phones. The selected category, search and filters stay in the address, so sharing a link or pressing Back preserves the view. Older category links redirect to their new homes.
Brand listings that rely on another integration follow its categories too: Somfy, for example, appears alongside the relevant Overkiz categories. The same categories are recorded across Home Assistant’s integrations, with support for custom integrations to supply them too.
