Rituals Perfume Genie owners gain a numeric fill percentage that Home Assistant can graph and compare in automations. A separate Cartridge sensor reports whether a fragrance cartridge is inserted, rather than hiding that information in the perfume name.
Existing automations that compare fill levels with text such as “70-80%” need to compare against a number instead. A missing measurement becomes unknown; the perfume sensor also becomes unknown without a cartridge. On first- and second-generation diffusers, the percentage is estimated from the cartridge’s use counter within the range reported by Rituals.
