Music Assistant brings duplicate library artists together when their tags, streaming links or recordings establish the same MusicBrainz identity. For example, Sydney Symphony and Sydney Symphony Orchestra can become one entry. A match based only on a name search is deliberately insufficient, protecting different artists who share a name.

Related library corrections stop an old artist remaining beside a replacement after a local music file is moved and retagged. Existing affected libraries need another retag or rescan to refresh. Albums assembled only from tags without their own folder can retain the old link.

Plex tracks also require an exact artist-name match after searching the library. That prevents a short name such as LEN from incorrectly choosing Amelie Lens. OzGav supplies the identity and retagging changes, with Chris Roberts correcting Plex's lookup.
