Music Assistant’s Yandex Music Connect connection uses a linked Yandex Music account and a specifically selected player. Existing setups using their own credentials or automatic player selection need to be reconfigured to choose both.
The connection adds repeat, shuffle and queue navigation, and improves recovery after authentication or connection failures. The device name follows the chosen player; credentials are not copied between providers.
