The Open Home Foundation says Jasco, Shelly and Zooz devices will retain Works with Home Assistant certification as long as they continue to meet the programme’s requirements. Its October newsletter addresses Schneider Electric’s planned takeover of Shelly early next year and Jasco’s acquisition of Zooz.
The foundation says its nonprofit structure keeps its own projects off the acquisition market. Its certification statement remains conditional on devices meeting the programme’s requirements; it does not guarantee every future product or business decision.
