Home Assistant gives connected AI assistants a fuller timeline for investigating a failure. The system-management connection adds full logs around a chosen time, extending the recent warnings and errors it already supplied.
On systems with Supervisor, the tools cover Home Assistant, Supervisor, host, plugin and app logs; other installations use the log file. A companion read-only tool lists installed integration connections, filters their loading status and supplies their translated error reasons.
These tools belong to the administrator-only Home Assistant management connection. Selecting it can share the requested logs with the configured AI provider; its access is broader than the household entities normally exposed to Assist.
