Home Assistant adds a repair warning for Nest connections still using Google’s hosted event topics, which Google is retiring on November 30. Affected owners are directed to Reconfigure, where they can select or create a topic in their own Google Cloud project without removing the integration.
The reconfiguration flow keeps a valid sign-in and the current selections where possible. A separate error flags a missing event subscription instead of leaving the connection without guidance. This puts an in-app route behind the migration advice published earlier this month.
