Home Assistant gives supported Tuya irrigation devices water-valve controls for opening and closing the supply. Single-channel devices using the standard switch control gain a valve, including the GIEX Watering Timer.
Multi-channel irrigation controllers gain a separate “Channel N” device for each indexed valve. Their former numbered switches are deprecated for removal in Home Assistant 2027.5. Existing enabled switches keep working with a repair notice; owners should move dashboards and automations to the valves, then disable the old switches.
