Matter.js Server controls Yeelight Cube Lite displays

Device-specific controls add drawings, animated images and music effects through the server.

Matter.js Server adds controls for the Yeelight Cube Lite’s light matrix, including effects, drawings, animated GIF uploads and microphone-driven music mode. Previously, the server could read its manufacturer-specific attributes but refused writes and commands.

Max-src tested the controls on a Cube Lite running firmware 1.12.32, including an animation uploaded and played on the lamp. The work also adds display-direction, module-layout and button-playlist controls. These are server and client-interface capabilities, not new Home Assistant dashboard controls.
