ESPHome adds an adjustable maximum current to its Delta AC wallbox connection. An automation can vary that limit for a solar-charging or household load-management setup rather than only start or stop charging.
The addition builds on yesterday’s Bluetooth controls and corrects the power, energy and elapsed-time readings. It supplies the current control; the decision about how much power to allocate still belongs to the maker’s automation.
