Home Assistant repairs setup for Advantage Air tablets that have never registered for remote access, such as a Zone10e used on a network without internet. Those tablets can omit the identifier previously required by the setup flow, causing it to fail.
The connection uses the tablet’s alternative identifier when the remote-access identifier is absent. Existing installations keep their identities; a tablet supplying neither receives a clear setup error.
